53 West are proving that country rock is alive and well in the UK. Formed in early 2024 just outside Manchester, the four-piece have spent the past year writing and recording their debut album. The band features vocalist and rhythm guitarist Danny Fairhurst, lead guitarist Dan Betts, bassist Andy “Brad” Bradshaw and drummer Chris Wainwright. Their debut single ‘Head Over Heels’ arrives later this year. Recorded at Elliot Kennedy’s Steelworks Studios with procer Rich Morgan, the track marks a bold first step. From festival debut to rising reputation
The band’s breakthrough came at Wafsville Festival 2025. They made their live debut there and impressed so much that organisers invited them back to headline the opening night.
