Wet Leg

Isle of Wight

Wet Leg are an Isle of Wight indie-rock band formed by Rhian Teasdale and Hester Chambers, later expanding into a five-piece with Ellis Durand, Henry Holmes and Joshua Mobaraki. Their self-titled debut album introduced a mixture of dry humour, repetitive hooks, distorted guitars and deadpan vocals through songs including ‘Chaise Longue’ and ‘Wet Dream’. The record earned major chart success, Grammy Awards and an international live audience. Second album moisturizer was written in a remote countryside house and turns towards love, lust and obsession with a fuller band sound. Lead single ‘Catch These Fists’ uses bruising riffs and forceful rhythms while retaining the wit and confrontation associated with Wet Leg’s debut.
