Imogen Evans

Blackpool

Imogen Evans is a Blackpool singer-songwriter whose debut album The Towers traces her development from adolescence into adulthood. She began writing music in 2016 and conceived the album’s title when she was 12. Songs including ‘Joy Is Subjective’, ‘Be Fearful’, ‘This Insecure Mind’ and ‘Residing In Hell’ explore small moments of happiness, trauma, insecurity, manipulation and resistance to change. Produced by Kyle J Wilson, the album combines alternative rock with emotive pop while preserving the personal focus of Imogen Evans’s writing. She developed her live experience through Blackpool’s Bootleg Social, where she performed solo and hosted open-mic events.
