Kasabian have confirmed their biggest London headline show to date. The band will play London’s Finsbury Park on 4th July 2026. The announcement arrives alongside the release of their new single ‘Hippie Sunshine’.
The Leicester group are renowned for explosive live shows and a constant drive to outdo themselves. Fresh from a run of summer festival headlines and last year’s triumphant hometown Summer Solstice II celebration, they now set their sights on the capital. The Finsbury Park show will mark a milestone in their career and promises to be one of the defining live events of next summer.
Details of the Finsbury Park show
Support will come from Louis Dunford, Razorlight, The K’s, Miles Kane and SOFY. Fans can access an artist pre-sale from 9:30am BST on Thursday 25th September. General sale will then open at 9:30am BST on Friday 26th September.
Kasabian’s reputation for high-intensity performances has been built over years of festival and arena dominance. They have headlined Glastonbury, sold out venues across Europe and delivered unpredictable shows that leave lasting memories. Finsbury Park will add another chapter to that history and raise the stakes even further.
New single ‘Hippie Sunshine’
Alongside the live announcement, Kasabian have released the hypnotic new single ‘Hippie Sunshine’. Produced and written by Serge Pizzorno, it offers a burst of guitar-driven colour and energy.
Serge describes the track as a reflection on restless individuals who chase escape instead of facing reality. “It captures the fleeting moment where everything feels light and limitless, yet beneath it lies a deep sense of disconnection, something both beautiful and tragic,” he explains. The words underline the balance of euphoria and unease that runs through the song.
‘Hippie Sunshine’ follows the band’s Sky Sports football takeover, where their reworked ‘G.O.A.T.’ featuring Cristale soundtracked the new season. It is also the first preview of Act III, the band’s upcoming ninth studio album.
Looking ahead to Act III
The record will arrive in 2026 and will line up perfectly with the Finsbury Park concert, giving fans the chance to hear new material live as soon as it lands. Kasabian continue to thrive on reinvention, with Serge’s writing at the centre of their evolution.
Act III looks set to open a fresh phase, blending bold experimentation with the anthemic power that has always defined them. For many, this London show will be the ultimate stage for that next step. Their hometown Summer Solstice II proved they can command vast outdoor audiences with ease. Now they will bring that same energy to London in front of tens of thousands, cementing their place among the UK’s most vital live acts.
‘Hippie Sunshine’ is out now on all streaming platforms. Tickets for Finsbury Park are expected to move quickly once the pre-sale and general sale dates open later this month.
