Canned Pineapple

Brighton-based Canned Pineapple have spent the past few years proving that rock ’n’ roll can still be gloriously loud, slightly ridiculous and an enormous amount of fun.

Formed in 2021 and fronted by Cork-born Seán Drury, the band specialise in what they call scuzz-pop: a riotous collision of fuzzy guitars, irresistible melodies and the slacker-rock sensibilities of Pavement, Teenage Fanclub and Dinosaur Jr.

Their self-titled debut EP and 2025 follow-up Big Break have taken them from Britain’s grassroots venues to festival stages in New York and across Europe, with songs like Jessie Met Jane, Shubadooba and Done With Everything demonstrating their considerable talent for organised musical chaos.

They’re also using their latest UK tour to collect donations for local foodbanks.
