Sheffield four-piece CRUZ are part of a new generation of British indie bands turning romantic misfortune into enormous, arms-aloft guitar anthems.
Fronted by Sam Thatcher, the band combine chiming guitars, driving rhythms and soaring choruses with a seemingly inexhaustible supply of tales about love, loss and the peculiar business of trying to move on.
Having spent much of 2026 taking their energetic live performances around the UK, including appearances at Tramlines, Truck and the Isle of Wight Festival, CRUZ have built a growing reputation as a band with ambitions considerably larger than the venues they started in.
Broken hearts. Big choruses. Bigger ambitions.
The festival fields are calling.
