Hannah Grace unveils new single ‘Softer’ ahead of album Bigger Picture

Following the success of her acclaimed debut album Remedy and last year’s widely streamed Devoted EP, Welsh singer-songwriter Hannah Grace returns with her luminous new single ‘Softer’, released on 23rd May 2025. The track offers the first glimpse into her forthcoming second full-length album Bigger Picture, due for release in August.

A quiet triumph in soul-pop songwriting, ‘Softer’ explores the beauty and power of vulnerability. With hushed arrangements and Hannah’s unmistakable voice at its core, the single captures the kind of emotional clarity that has become her hallmark. “It’s a song about finding the strength in your softness,” she shares, summing up a theme that runs deeply throughout her new material.

The sound of an artist in full bloom

‘Softer’ marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for Hannah Grace, one shaped by creative independence and artistic fearlessness. Her second album Bigger Picture was written and recorded between the UK and Nashville, produced in collaboration with Christian Harger, and funded through a combination of PRS Foundation’s Women Make Music Fund, Arts Council England, and her own Patreon community.

The single arrives with momentum. Hannah has already gained the admiration of John Mayer, who championed her music on his SiriusXM show, and Vogue, who dubbed her voice “like honey.” She’s opened for icons including Hozier, Barbra Streisand, and Jess Glynne, performed live on BBC Radio 2 and BBC Radio Wales, and landed syncs with global campaigns for Lancôme and Lloyds Bank with her power ballad rendition of ‘Praise You’.

A confident step toward the Bigger Picture

Hannah’s second album promises to be her most personal and powerful yet. Described as “a luminous and deeply personal collection of songs” with a sound that blends soul, jazz, folk, and pop, Bigger Picture explores themes of love, resilience, and transformation. Early singles from the record—including the playlisted ‘I Grow Up All Over Again’ and its B-side ‘Golden’—have already accumulated significant streaming numbers and editorial support.

‘Softer’ follows in their footsteps, but also signals something fresh. It’s more than just a teaser for the album—it’s a message of reassurance and empathy, delivered with grace, clarity, and soul.

With a growing audience and full creative control, Hannah Grace is entering a defining era of her artistry. Her independent journey mirrors that of artists like RAYE, choosing autonomy over compromise, and crafting music that resonates deeply because it comes straight from the source.
