Freya Ridings

London

Freya Ridings is a London singer-songwriter whose work combines piano-led intimacy, large-scale pop arrangements and a distinctive vocal performance. Since her 2017 breakthrough with ‘Lost Without You’, she has released the albums Freya Ridings, Blood Orange and Mother of Pearl. Her writing explores love, grief, identity, ancestry, freedom and creative renewal. Mother of Pearl was developed across four years and recorded with collaborators including Jenn Decilveo, Fraser T Smith, Adam Yaron, Toby Gad, Sam de Jong and Michael Matosic, widening her sound while retaining the direct writing and vocal focus associated with her earlier work.
