Kelli Blanchett

Kelli Blanchett is an alt-folk songwriter whose work draws on 1970s singer-songwriter records, plucked guitars, soft organ and restrained strings. Her EP Casual Dining emerged after chronic illness led her to step back through much of 2024. Its five songs explore isolation, embarrassment, loneliness, friendship, self-reckoning and the grief of losing the life you expected to have. The project includes ‘Hiding in Plain Sight’, a song shaped by the disappearance of a friend during a difficult period.
