Mina My

Mina My is a Stavanger-based indie-rock and alt-pop songwriter whose music balances acoustic intimacy with bright guitars, distorted riffs and hook-led choruses. Her debut EP The Mall Experiment was recorded during her time at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts and explores identity, love, memory, confusion and the messy joy of young adulthood. Its title draws from the psychological mall experiment and the idea that false memories can be created. Mina My has performed at grassroots stages and Pride festivals in Norway and Liverpool, won the Mablisstipendet and secured a festival appearance at Mablis in her hometown. The later single ‘Like Coming Home’ examines the excitement and doubt of falling in love while fearing another disappointment.
