Norfolk
Stella Lain is a Norfolk country singer-songwriter known as the Country Barbie, pairing a big voice and narrative-led writing with an unapologetically feminine visual world. She began writing songs and teaching herself guitar during childhood, later earning recognition for her songwriting. Inspired by artists including Carrie Underwood, Taylor Swift and Dolly Parton, Stella combines Nashville-influenced production with a distinctly British perspective.
Her self-titled debut EP, Stella, moves between pop-country, traditional country and country rock across songs including ‘Sun-Kissed’, ‘Boy Bye’, ‘Country Girl’, ‘The Problem’ and ‘Go!’. The collection explores romance, rejection, confidence and personal growth, while ‘All Dolled Up’ opens the next chapter with a rhinestone-bright celebration of self-love and individuality. Through catchy melodies, sharp character and energetic live performances, Stella invites listeners into a world filled with pink glitter, butterflies and country storytelling.
