The Lathums press shot

The Lathums

The Lathums combine riff-led indie-pop with open writing about identity, fear and the need for human connection. Their songs make room for unsettled thoughts without losing their melodic pull, allowing Alex Moore’s vocals to move between vulnerability and the kind of choruses built for a crowd.

‘Vice Versa’ marked the band’s return after more than a year without new music. Written with Ian Archer in Brighton, the track grew from a session that became closer to a therapeutic conversation, shaping a song about feeling out of place even when life appears stable. Its balance of warmth, unease and singalong momentum captures The Lathums’ ability to turn difficult thoughts into accessible guitar pop.
