Leah Wilcox

Leah Wilcox is a Derbyshire singer-songwriter whose music combines ambient folk, indie rock, Americana and a countrygaze sound shaped by shoegaze texture. She began developing her live career as a teenager and has performed at festivals including TRUCK and Y Not, alongside an eight-date run of HMV in-store appearances. Songs such as ‘Origami Flowers’ and ‘Just A Bore’ explore devotion, toxic relationships, self-worth and the pressures placed on women. ‘Blue’ returns to a fuller countrygaze presentation while continuing Leah Wilcox’s focus on love and personal growth.
