Written during her first heartbreak, Rosie Gault’s reimagined daydream lets youthful hope and present-day acceptance drift together.

Rosie Gault
Lincolnshire
Rosie Gault is a Lincolnshire singer-songwriter who describes her music as a diary for overthinkers. Her sound combines folk and soft pop with delicate piano, acoustic guitar, ethereal synths and detailed vocal harmonies. Early single ‘Dim Lights’, written for the short film Little Lovin’, explored love and attachment through a dreamlike arrangement, while ‘I’m Losing You’ examined the fear of forgetting small details about someone who once meant everything.
Rosie released her debut EP Songs From Winter after writing the four-track collection during one December in her rural hometown. Its restrained production, natural soundscapes and vulnerable writing established a reflective style that continued with ‘Phone Box’, a song inspired by her grandmother’s memories and the imagined conversations that follow heartbreak. Across her work, Rosie gives quiet thoughts room to unfold, using direct lyrics and understated arrangements to explore change, distance, regret and unfinished connections.
‘Phone Box’ sees Rosie Gault blend memory, imagination, and heartbreak into a warm and intimate new release.
