George Bone readies bold new single ‘’Til The World Ends’

George Bone returns with his most impactful track to date, the powerful new single ‘’Til The World Ends’, due for release on 22nd August. The Essex-based artist follows a breakthrough summer with a bold, emotionally open anthem that blends satire, longing and cinematic-scale emotion into one unforgettable pop moment.

Written during a 2024 songwriting camp in Stockholm, the track was originally penned for Teddy Swims. Now released in George’s own voice, ‘’Til The World Ends’ asks what it means to love someone when the world feels broken beyond repair. Set to sweeping production and warm guitar tones, the song takes a satirical but sincere look at what it costs to hold on to love amid chaos. Lyrically, it flips between pleading vulnerability and playful absurdity, including the standout line: “If the aliens get here, will you love them more?”

Musically, George lands somewhere between the lush storytelling of Tom Misch’s ‘Movie’ and the heartfelt smoothness of John Mayer’s ‘Gravity’. It is a track built for open skies and open hearts – one to scream, sway, or cry along to, depending on what the moment calls for.

Speaking about the single, George described it as “a song to scream to the sky to,” and that feeling echoes across every note. The vocals shift from quiet yearning to full-bodied declaration, giving the track its push-and-pull intensity. Even with its satire and scale, the core remains deeply human.

A rising artist ready for lift-off

2025 has already been a standout year for George. He signed his first publishing agreement and became Social Media Presenter for YAMAHA Music London, a role that has put his personality and talent in front of wider audiences. He was also named BBC Introducing Essex & Cambs’ “One To Watch”, and with ‘’Til The World Ends’, he is showing exactly why that title fits.

Fresh off the back of his debut London headline show, George’s momentum continues to build. With every release, he sharpens his sound and deepens his emotional range. This latest single proves that his voice, both lyrically and vocally, carries weight, wit and heart.
