Their music combines layered violin, dreamy vocals, folk textures and cinematic atmosphere with writing about queer longing, heartbreak, mental health and lived experience. fiig creates songs intended to help listeners feel safe and seen, while their live performances bring a bubbly and chaotic stage presence to the intimate writing. The single ‘Mother’ followed their first London headline show and pointed towards a debut EP rooted in mystical folk storytelling.
