Poesie is a London-based artist whose music moves between alt-pop, indie pop, dance-pop, art-rock and theatrical indie rock. Also known as theatre director and writer Eloïse Poulton, she brings stage-honed storytelling and character work into songs about ecology, equality, humanity, online dating, technological anxiety and modern isolation. Her sound has included sparkling synthesisers, industrial bass, electronic drums, live instrumentation, layered harmonies, crunchy guitars and melodic vocals, balancing sincere themes with humour, dancefloor energy and a larger sense of performance.
