Emma Taylor’s debut single, ‘Ellie’, is coming in April

We’ve only just found Emma Taylor but we’re so glad we did. The Manchester-based musician is set to release her debut single ‘Ellie’ on 21st April and it’s already one of our favourite tracks of 2023. It’s a gorgeously realised single that not only sets our Emma’s stall, it is one of the most assured debuts we’ve heard to date. It’s clear that this is an artist with a huge career ahead.

Emma Taylor is a 19 year old, indie-pop, singer-songwriter based in Manchester who has been gigging regularly around the North-West since the age of 15, inspired by the likes of Wolf Alice, Tash Sultana and Holly Humberstone. With emotionally raw lyrics and soul inspired vocals, she writes from experiences of growing up and stories of heartbreak through her songwriting. She is becoming a much sought-after solo artist and has recently put a band together to play her original material in larger venues, such as their most recent gig at Band on the Wall. Her upcoming debut single, entitled ‘Ellie’ is set to be released on the 21st April. In celebration of this, she is co-headlining Bootleg Social with fellow local Blackpool musician, Daisy Atkinson, in a joint release party.
