Libby Akerman set to release new EP, ‘Conversations’ in November

Liverpool-based Libby Akerman has announced the 17th November release of new EP, Conversations. The gorgeous five track release features recent singles ‘Window Seat’ and ‘I Fall’.

Libby has performed at iconic Liverpool venues, such as The Jacaranda, and headlined at The Cavern Club. On top of this, she has received many accolades, including the BBC Hereford and Worcester Artist of the Week, and Libby was shortlisted for the Radio 1 Introducing Live Lounge.

Libby was raised in the Cotswolds and performed at local venues from age 14. While studying Songwriting and Music Production at LIPA, Libby honed her craft and found her sound as an artist. Her strong grounding across guitar and piano, alongside her effortlessly graceful vocals, lent themselves to layers of experimentation and musical development. The culmination of this is this EP, which encapsulates the elegance of Libby’s songwriting and is a testament to her flair for music production.

Her influences span several genres, from the confessional songwriters of Fleetwood Mac and Elton John to the modern jazz sound of Joy Crookes and Eloise. Libby is an exciting new presence in the UK music space.
