Klaudia finds clarity in the chaos on Renovations

London pop artist Klaudia shares Renovations, a six-track debut EP blending dreamy indie shimmer, polished pop production and emotionally open songwriting.

Klaudia has released her debut EP Renovations. The six-track project was written in London with Charlotte Adelle and Eugene Vinitsky of Choisez Studio. Built around the idea of renovating a house after a storm, it follows a move from self-protection to vulnerability, connection and freedom.

The shape of the EP

Klaudia has a strong concept to work with here. Renovations gives the EP an emotional frame before a note even plays. Rebuilding after damage, learning to trust again and letting yourself feel things fully all sit naturally inside that image. That makes the project feel shaped rather than scattered.

The sonic palette sounds well chosen too. Klaudia blends polished pop production with dreamy indie textures, electric guitars and emotionally driven songwriting. That mix suits songs about self-doubt, surrender and emotional courage. It promises brightness, but not emptiness. It promises intimacy, but not heaviness.

The tracklist suggests movement rather than one fixed mood. ‘Brand New Eyes’ hints at a shift in perspective. ‘Wasting My Time’ brings in uncertainty. ‘X2’ has already been framed around adrenaline and surrender. ‘Hard to Love’ points to the more difficult edges of connection. Put together, those titles make the EP feel like a small coming-of-age arc, with hope and hesitation constantly trading places.

Renovations Review

What I like here is how clearly Klaudia seems to know her world. The language around Renovations is full of windows-down summer drives, glitter-covered bedroom dance floors and restless late-night thoughts. Those details matter. They give the songs a setting. They also stop the EP from feeling like a generic set of romantic pop confessions.

There is a lot of familiar emotional ground here, but that is not a problem in itself. Pop has always thrived on love, doubt, longing and self-repair. The trick is making those feelings feel vivid. Renovations sounds like it has the right tools for that. The mix of shimmer, tension and emotional openness feels very well suited to listeners who overthink everything and still want to believe in the best possible version of things.

For me, this feels like a very inviting debut EP. The concept is clean. The emotional route in is clear. The sound world feels bright, romantic and easy to picture. If the songs land with the same honesty and melodic pull promised here, Renovations could be a very easy EP to get attached to.
