Bailey Tomkinson

Cornwall

Bailey Tomkinson is a Cornwall-based songwriter whose music brings together Americana, country, pop and melodic rock. Early TuneFountain coverage followed personal singles including ‘Skin’, the California Fire EP, the country-pop track ‘Astronaut’ and her live development through UK touring. Working with The Locals, Bailey Tomkinson expanded that sound into warm, guitar-led arrangements shaped by layered vocals and classic Californian influences. The Witching Hour EP explores growing up through first love, heartbreak, jealousy, hope and transformation. Its four tracks, ‘Supermoon’, ‘Moonshine’, ‘Witching Hour’ and ‘Chrysalis’, trace different stages of youth and change while retaining the open melodies and organic instrumentation associated with the band. TuneFountain also covered the seasonal Americana release ‘Christmas For Cowboys’. Bailey Tomkinson and The Locals were highlighted as a BBC Introducing One To Watch for 2025 and attracted further attention through their live performances, including a London show at Lafayette.
