Laura Beckwith

Laura Beckwith is an Essex-based country-pop singer-songwriter whose music combines narrative-led lyrics with accessible pop melodies and plenty of personality. She began performing at theatre school at the age of three and spent several years in musical theatre before focusing on songwriting and learning piano and guitar. Her releases have developed from acoustic country-pop into a brighter, more confident sound while keeping honest storytelling at the centre.

Songs including ‘Halfway’, ‘All It Is’, ‘Hit and Run’, ‘Sick of the Movies’, ‘Growing Pains’ and ‘Not Used To This’ explore arguments, unrequited feelings, romantic disappointment and the uncertainty surrounding new relationships. More recent tracks such as ‘Orange Jumpsuit’ and ‘Pipe Down’ lean further into country-pop attitude, sharp humour and direct writing, with Laura’s recognisable vocals carrying each hook. She has performed across London, Essex and Hampshire, developed her songwriting during shows in Nashville and received support from BBC Introducing, alongside national radio play and a number 13 country-chart single.
