MOA

MOA is a London-based alt-pop artist, songwriter and producer known for confronting mental health and identity through brutally honest music. After the release of her debut EP Beat in 2022, she followed up with singles like ‘Special Place in Hell’ and ‘Home Is Where the Hurt Is’, which deepened her emotional signature. Each song reveals trauma and survival with unapologetic directness and melodic flair.

In early 2025, MOA released ‘Born Again’, a track about rebuilding and choosing to live with purpose. She described it as a song that took years to write and one that represents a turning point in her life. The creative partnership with producer Al Groves has helped shape her sound by fostering a studio environment where honesty leads the process and each track finds its own sonic identity.

By mid-2025, MOA had brought her recent work together in the EP Home Is Where the Hurt Is, which features emotional standouts like ‘Me vs Me’ alongside the title track. The five-song release explores pain, identity and self-acceptance with a balance of introspection and catharsis. With a growing presence on the London live circuit and a voice that resonates with those facing inner conflict, MOA continues to create space for strength and vulnerability to exist side by side.
