Natalie McCool

Natalie McCool is a Liverpool-based independent artist, songwriter and producer who grew up in Widnes and studied at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts. After beginning with intimate, guitar-led songwriting, she moved into a broader alt-pop sound across albums including The Great Unknown and Memory Girl, combining shimmering synths, layered vocals and sharp melodies with writing about vulnerability, love, jealousy, loss and self-discovery.

Taking control of her writing, recording and production has allowed Natalie to build a detailed world around each release, extending into visuals, immersive live shows and the Memory Girl podcast. Collaborations with Ellysse Mason, Trans Voices and Whyte Horses have widened that creative scope, while forthcoming album Good For The Soul brings together bold pop arrangements, Liverpool Philharmonic strings and a large cast of guest artists around themes of hope, joy and adulthood.
